HOT HUNDRED - THE HOTTEST RIDE IN THE SOUTH.
DON'T MISS OUT OF THIS YEAR'S 15TH ANNUAL

History of the Hot Hundred

The starting venue was Capitol Park and continued through the scenic rural communities of West Central Alabama and Greene County, then back again for a total of 103 miles! Hot Hundred is Tuscaloosa’s first-century bicycle ride and also offers options for rides at 29, 36, 52, and 71 miles. The starting venue changed in 2011 to the University of Alabama Outdoor Pool Complex, as a partnership was forged with the University of Alabama Recreation Center.

What started as a club ride for local cyclists has become a premier event that attracts cycling enthusiasts from all over the United States. The Hot Hundred started with a registration total of 78 riders in its first year and has quickly grown to over 600 riders since 2013.

Why we ride

The Tuscaloosa Mental Health Alliance is a proactive alliance of local citizens, community leaders and health care providers with the focus on issues and concerns regarding mental health in our community.

We work together collaboratively in an effort to identify those areas that are problematic in the provision of services, such as access to care, crisis intervention, education, stigma etc., and to find solutions to those areas identified.
