PRESENTER: LESLIE PHILLIPS, LPC-S, NCC
Dare to Dream is owned by Leslie Phillips, LPC-SC, NCC, and works with those who "Dare to Dream" to reach their goals. Leslie Phillips is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Counseling Supervisor, and a Nationally Certified Counselor. She has been in the field of mental health since 1997, and has over 15 years of Clinical Experience, providing services in the Huntsville, Guntersville, Arab, Decatur, Athens, and Moulton Alabama areas. Leslie has a Master's Degree in Counseling and Psychology from the University of West Alabama. Her experience includes counseling in a variety of settings, ranging from private practice to professional organizations, as well as mental health centers. Leslie has experience in supervising and managing mental health programs, staffs, and subsequent services, as well as ensuring quality assurance and performance improvement. She also has experience in providing training for mental health professionals. Leslie oversees the program "Leslie Phillips Seminars®" which hosts continuing education seminars for mental health professionals, primarily hosted in the Northern Alabama area as this program is an NBCC approved continuing education provider, and an Alabama SW continuing education approved provider. In addition to this practice, Leslie has provided supervision for those seeking state of Alabama LPC licensure since 2011. Leslie also teaches Undergraduate Psychology and Human Service courses with Columbia College.
